Dr. Thurber always does an excellent job and is able to explain details in a manner that is easily understood. My nurse Angi in Cardiac Outpatient is also exceptional. She is very attentive, explains well, and should be training other nurses in efficiency. Thank you both for the great experience.
I have had two procedures done by Dr Thurber in the past 5 months, both successful. He is an excellent Cardiologist and explains the procedures from the beginning to the end. I Can't speak highly enough about his team and Kootenai Hospital. The nurses are so caring and make you feel very comfortable from the time you arrive to the time you leave. They are also very knowledgeable about the procedures you are about to receive. Wonderful experience
Excellent healthcare by Dr. Derbes. I crawled into the clinic two years ago, my heart had deteriorated so much. I now am able to exercise daily and work full time! Thank you. Dr. Thurber was part of this process as well but Dr. Derbes is who has followed up with me regularly. Hooray!
I was set to have a Loop Recorder placed by the Heart Center in the late afternoon on a Friday. When I spoke to the nurse she stated that I could probably get in earlier. I had another appointment early that day and I live 2 hours away. They said just get here when you can and check in. We will get you in when you arrive. They did!!! It was amazing and fast! The staff were amazing as well as the medical reps that were there explaining how my new device works! Thank you to Dr. Thurber for the amazing care and listening to my and my family's concerns and Rochelle Nunley for getting me in so quickly!!! Again KH staff is amazing!!!
Dr Thurber and staff did a great job explaining cardiac ablation procedure as well as performing the procedure. Would definitely recommend Dr Thurber and the Kootenai Hospital due to their professionalism and expertise.
