Dr. Ryan Smith is arguably the best cardiologist & lipidologist anywhere - it's simple; if you want your heart and circulatory systems to be in the best hands possible, go see Dr. Smith and his team. You'll be listened to, and your conditions, treatment & medication options will be thoroughly explained - with patience & kindness. Dr Smith (& his colleagues) have the TOP education, training, staff, equipment and most importantly; bedside manner that you deserve. Yes, it is a busy practice (might take time for that 1st appt), but it's worth waiting for. The quality of care that Dr. Smith and his Hawaii Heart Associates team provides is outstanding, as compared to ANYWHERE in this country. Note: I died of a heart attack on 9/11/20 in the Chicago-Milwaukee area - a location known for top-notch medical facilities and care. Following a miraculous resuscitation and recovery, I moved to HI. I've seen cardiologists and lipidologists from the Midwest to the Southeast, and Dr. Smith is by far the very best, in my opinion.
