On Oct.10,25 my PCP Was on vacation, his nurse practitioner filled a medical driver's license renewal and lied to me, what the eye doctor had written in my medical report. She said he wrote I needed glasses to drive, not true.I called his office and nurse confirmed, she even called my PCP,s NURSE PRACTITIONER and informed her she was wrong, I do not need glasses to drive. She then told me on :Oct 13,25 when I went to pickup completed medical report, that due to my age 69 and safety, she put on form, I can drive 2 years and need to do a road test. Her statements in the medical form stated I could drive and have no medical issues that prevent my safe driving. She said the maximum years for age on medical report, she states means up to. I,m am filing a grievance against her for unprofessional conduct and for lying. Also age discrimination with no real cause.I cancelled my Oct.17,25 driver's license application renewal appointment due to this actions and conduct ,she the nurse practitioner subjected me to.I will be seeing my PCP DOCTOR on ,Oct.29,25 for a correction to the medical report made by the NP, who I never seen her before that ,Oct.10th appointment and as I informed her, without knowing I was talking to her on Oct13,25, due to her wearing a mask and not identifying herself to me, when I tried to explain what the NP did, said and wrote on the 10th of Oct. In the medical report. After telling her and front desk, that I never want to see that lying NP ever again and making a new appointment to see my PCP Doctor. I asked front desk who was that person I was just talking to about the NP Lying. I was told the was the NURSE PRACTITIONER, which I told them, she did not tell me who she was. Is this the kind of hospital we can trust to care for us? I told front desk I don,t trust her...She even changed my medication and the dosage, which I also told front desk ,I won,t be following her changes.I wait to the 29th of October and see PCP and what he says and write. I,m rescinding the release of my medical information, that I signed to pickup the Medical Report NP completed.

Made a new patient appointment to find a new PCP to be referred to a specialist for some heart palpitations and lightheaded and nausea. Got to the appointment 20mins before my appointment and checked in. 30mins after appt I went to the front desk and asked if they were running behind. Turns out the lady never checked me in. So in return they said I need to make a new appointment. After being very frustrated which led me to crying the nurse placed me in their "triage" room took my vitals talked to me then left. When she came back she said doctors went home for the day and the manager said I have 2 options and wrote on a sticky note two different days. The manager kept making the nurses go back and for to play messenger. Haha the health care in Hawaii is embarrassing and a joke. Incompetent and negligence. You have a patient in the building and you go home. It's not my fault your front desk didn't push the correct button. Thanks for wasting my time.

It's really hard looking for a Pediatrician on the island when your kids aren't newborns. We were so happy to have found her and felt even luckier after we've gone in for visits with her. Dr. Santiago thinks of care in a holistic way--it's not just about medication or medicating, it's also exercising, nutrition, vaccinations, and mental well being. She is thoughtful and very patient with all of our kids. I have a 12 year old daughter whom she is thoughtful for in terms of her female body development. I have a 6 year old who loves to communicate every observation. And I have a picky, 4 year old who gets shy and will only cooperate on his own time. Dr. Santiago did well with all three of them. She talks to them in a language they can understand and is very kind as well as patient. All three of my kids were comfortable with her and my husband and I are really happy with her. She goes through development stages for each kid. She answers all of our questions and concerns. She's very insightful and up to date on current pediatric health standards. We didn't feel rushed at all but our appointments were relatively quick.
The staff at this location, from the lovely receptionist who check you in to the nurses who help us with our appointments, are very kind and professional. The place is always clean. We've been here several times already and have seen our Pediatrician multiple years. I highly recommend this Doctor.
