Dr. Joseph Y. Murakami, MD

I have been Dr Murakami's patient for about 35 years and I cannot say enough about how concerned and conscientious he is about my health. He is very well-read and up on the latest health issues. He provides me with excellent recommendations and often explains to me in detail whenever I have a question. He closely monitors my blood tests and schedules chest x-rays, mammograms, flu shots and everything else so I never have to worry about remembering when to do it. I hope he never retires and will take care of both my husband and myself throughout our golden years!

Horrible, yes this sums up my experience. The front office is unorganized and argumentative over the phone. A friend recommended Dr. Marsh, Needing a doctor I called on a Wednesday. Was instructed to wait for the nurse to call me. Day went by and no call back. I called the next day and explained my confusion and dissappointment. Was informed the nurse got the request but front office did not know why I was not called. Then informed Dr. Marsh would be gone until Saturday. I asked if I would be called then and told most definately becuase the encounter is written down and passed along. Recptionist even read back my information. Saturday comes and no phone call by 0900. I call the office, Margie answers. Starts agruement about there being no communcation about an appoinment or me as a patient. Margie explains the email must have gotten lost. Also states the doctor is very busy blah blah blah. My advice new patients go find another office. Do not waste your money or insurance companies money on such BAH HUMBUG service.
