I am currently here as a visitor. All I can say is, the staff is wonderful, friendly, warm and kind. Very helpful. It especially helps when we are visiting from outer islands and they make you feel so welcomed! I love this place! Food in the cafeteria was ono as well. Mahalo Nui Loa

My spouse came for a test in 2016. Here is my experience as a bystander.
There are 2 drive up entrances, one on Moanalua Road, the other on Pali Momi Street. We parked across the street near Toys R Us to avoid paying for parking. After the fact, we were told by another nurse that we could've gotten a parking pass at no charge. Oh well.
REGISTRATION:
Located on the second level. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
This area also houses the Hookipa Cafe which serves Starbucks drinks. The Mocha Frappuccino I had was delish. Service from Kris V. was quick, friendly & professional. There are tons of tables & chairs, both indoor and out, on a spacious covered lanai, to enjoy your food and beverage.
They have TV's on the first 3 floors that display patient status if they're in surgery, concealed by 6 digit numbers given to family members and friends so you know what stage of the procedure they're in. It worked for the most part but at the end, my spouses' number wasn't showing on the display so I went to check, and the nurse said he was still in the recovery room. I was supposed to have received a call from either the doctor or nurse when he was done but didn't. He ended up calling from the room.
AMBULATORY:
The third floor staff took great care of my spouse, starting with RN Denise B. She was so friendly, pleasant, and caring in her Tennesseean accent. She made the both of us feel so comfortable.
Dr. Dang was the anesthesiologist, and paid us a visit in the pre-op area. He's a very friendly and smiley guy, and explained his process thoroughly.
Dr. Small was the man of the hour. He's very pleasant, has great bedside manners, and explained in detail with cute visual drawings on what he did. He also visited post procedure and the next day.
6TH FLOOR NURSING:
Nurse Elaine was the lady of the hour, caring for my spouse in his time of need after the procedure. She was very sweet, with a caring personality and excellent bedside manners.
The rest of the entire 6th Floor nursing staff were all top notch. Everyone was so friendly and caring, it was amazing. No problems, no attitude, all 100% from the heart, which is how it should be.
ROOM:
My spouse was placed in a private room, something we both appreciated. The room has its own a/c thermostat which was great, TV with free movies, and bathroom with shower.
ROOM SERVICE:
It seems to be the trend nowadays, to have hotel-like service for the patients, which is terrific! The selections are plentiful. Service is available from 6:30am to 6:30pm and categorized by diet. Food delivery was prompt.
TIP:
They have strong, free WiFi that was even available in the rooms above.
OVERALL:
Most importantly, my spouse's tests came out with a favorable result. Whew! Modern facilities, unrivaled care, clean, world class staff.

Forever Grateful to Pali Momi Medical Center
I recently had spinal surgery at Pali Momi Medical Center, and I can honestly say that every single thing they could have done right, they far superseded. The care I received wasn't just splendid--it was deeply personal. The staff didn't treat me like just another patient; they became like family to me.
Although I felt sad not being able to see everyone again when I was leaving, I carry with me the hope that the friendships we built will continue for life. The compassion, dedication, and genuine kindness I experienced there will stay with me forever.
To the entire Pali Momi team: thank you for not only healing my body but also touching my heart.

Scheduled an imaging procedure as advised by my primary care doctor. Pali Momi said they were booking way out and I made the appointment and waited patiently. The DAY BEFORE they call me and tell me they have to cancel the routine procedure because they didn't receive a prior authorization from my insurance. My insurance keeps telling me that no prior authorization is needed. My doctor's office says they tried to put in the authorization awhile back to satisfy this strange request, but that imaging department didn't provide the needed info. Avoid this facility or call them weekly to make sure they won't cancel last minute on you.

I was getting ready to board a plane at the Honolulu airport when I sneezed, and my arm went wonky. I called for medical assistance and EMS brought me to the Pali Momi. There I received prompt medical attention by a fine and caring ER staff efficiently diagnosed my condition as a stroke and administered blockbusting medication. Within three days of their care, my limp and Placid arm has returned to near normal proficiency. Words cannot express my gratitude to the caring staff of nurses and doctors furiously worked on my behalf to defeat what had the potential of being a life altering stroke. In addition to having all of the necessary skill and equipment on site, they also had direct access to all my medical records back home through my chart.
I will never forget that sneeze and my Poli Momi experience.
