Dr. Watts and Surgical Associates
I recently had an out patient procedure completed at Emory Hospital in Warner Robins. I do want to give credit to the out patient department from registration and pre operative care to day of surgery attention and nursing staff to the entire team. MOST of all Surgical Associates under the provider of Dr. Watts and his team at the pavilion were absolutely amazing. My surgery was scheduled quickly. The office staff was attentive, kind, professional with amazing heart felt attentiveness. Bed side manner is something that has been absent in the medical profession over the years and instead of being treated like people it's turned into being treated as a dollar bill get you in and get you out. THAT WAS NOT the case with Dr. Watts. He took time with me, answering all questions, scheduled my surgery quickly, the day of surgery he talked to me before the surgery, my husband after the procedure and both of us before we left! NEVER had that much attention and compassion been shown to me and that speaks volumes! Thank you is not an appropriate word to describe my appreciation for Dr. Watts and his team also Emory Hospital during this process! If anyone is needing a general surgeon you can't get any better than Surgical Associates and Dr. Watts. Highest regards sent to them!

I should leave no stars BUT the Tamara, the nurse I had was amazing and she actually deserves 5 stars. I came in through the ER, I had a seizure. They told me at 240 something I was being admitted. My dad left and my husband got there from work, from 3 pm on no one came in my room. My IV bags ran completely out they were sucked dry. I had to keep leaving my room for any kind of help, now mind you I was off balanced and unstable.I spend ALOT of time at and around a hospital I know my stuff (my son has a chronic disease). This isn't just someone who thinks its horrible, it was bad. At 6 I started asking more about WHEN I was being moved. The guy down the hall was asking for his discharge papers for over an hour. At 645 I finally said I want to leave. I will get more rest at home at this point. They encouraged me the transport was on his way. At 738 I said the same thing and was told the same thing. At 745 a transport showed up. He was about to hook me back up to the heart monitor in order to transport me, I said no its been unhooked and the machine has been off for hours and no one noticed so why go back on it. I decided to go upstairs and after that point I checked myself out of the hospital and I left. I needed to be there. I have stuff going on that needed treatment BUT I know there was no brain bleed at this point and my CT was ok so I left. Emory has a LONG WAY to go to get this hospital up to par.

Wow what an amazing experience! Every single person went above and beyond from receptionist who checked me in, the sweet young man who did my CAT scan, the precious young lady who took my x-rays, each and every nurse and my doctor. You calmed my nerves, took the time to answer all my questions and provided excellent care in spite of the fact you're going through a transitional period yourselves.
Thank you so much for your caring and your expertise. You made a scary situation a whole lot better and I appreciate each of you. God bless you.

This place is amazing. I received excellent care and the entire staff from imaging, nurses, front desk, and the doctor. Everyone was kind, professional and caring. The service they delivered went above and beyond In spite of the fact, I'm sure they're under a lot of stress with all the changes going on with the new ownership.
The wait was not that long and the doctor was prompt in giving me my test results. They were attentive to my needs. We are very fortunate to have a hospital like this in the area. I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews, but I was beyond satisfied with the care I received and would go back anytime I need an ER. Thank you so much!

I would give 0 if I could on here. My brother went to IV Therapy there for a catheter change and the nurse didn't know what she was doing and punctured the tube through to his rectum. Then they sent him to the ER. He sat in a room in the ER bleeding profusely while the doctor did nothing. He sat there for hours to the point he had a mini stroke from blood loss. Once my mother finally got angry with the nurse the doctor finally contacted the urologist. As soon as the urologist saw him he took him straight to surgery. Thank goodness for the rest of the doctors and nurses from the surgery until he was finally released. To top it all off his records from all of this are missing. A complaint was filed through patient service. My mother received a letter stating they were sorry she didn't feel like they had done their job, but they had. DO NOT EVER GO TO IV THERAPY OR THE ER!
