Omar R. Kashlan, MD, earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. He specializes in coronary artery disease, CHF, and PAD. Prior to joining Piedmont, he was practicing interventional cardiology for eight years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, jogging, and trying new restaurants. Dr. Kashlan is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.

Great staff, professional, very kind and caring.
Having a heart attack is not fun at all, and it's a blessing to receive good care from professionals who listen patiently, take time to explain the process and the procedure.
It's difficult to remember all the names, but I have retained those of Mrs Antisia Thompson Pearsall who was the NP, very warm and sympathetic; and particularly Mrs Marleni A. who was my personal nurse. Marleni is not just an RN, she has a ministry of kindness, caring, compassion and is dedicated to her job! I hope -- if she hasn't already-- that she gets the Daisy award! She definitely deserves it!

Dr kashlan possesses a high level of intelligence and medical expertise, and has extensive experience and technical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of various heart conditions. He is able to provide accurate diagnoses and reasonable treatment plans for his patients, and is also very patient and willing to listen to their concerns.
He has a broad knowledge base and provides additional guidance on how to rescue and maintain a patient's heart health.
