Dr. David B. Casey, MD PhD is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana and a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA where he received his B.S. in Chemistry. While attending Southern University he spent his summers conducting research at Stanford University. He obtained his medical degree and PhD from Tulane University in New Orleans. His internal residency was at LSU University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette, LA where he was chief resident. Dr. Casey completed his training with fellowships at the University of Illinois- Chicago in general and interventional cardiology. Dr. Casey is a member of the American College of Cardiology and board certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
