The staff were so professional and caring. They scheduled me within 24 hours! Dr. Woods and his team spent time understanding the issues with my dog and were able to get a quick diagnosis and also made such a great report and ultrasound that made it so clear for a surgeon to do a very clear pinpoint for expedited surgery. Dr. Woods also spent time after visit to call after hours to go over lab results. If you live in Savannah, this would be my go to practice!

The staff at Savannah Veterinary are very caring and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond the expectations of pet moms like me! The follow up is always timely and they are flexible with appointment times. I highly recommend taking your precious pets to see Dr. Woods and his staff.

Dr. Woods and his staff are beyond extraordinary. The care, attention, and compassion they offered to me and my baby is far beyond what was expected. While Mozart has passed (peacefully), I am grateful to have this team in our corner for the last years of his life. I am also grateful for the care and support they offered after his passing. Truly, one of a kind.

It was such a relief to bring my 16 year old pup, Haley, to Dr. Woods. Haley had stopped eating and I thought that we might lose her. When we arrived, I was impressed that Dr. Woods had already read all of her records which were extensive. He did a detailed ultrasound and thoroughly explained the results. He asked a lot of questions and was able to figure out Haley's intestinal issues that our regular vets hadn't been able to diagnose. I am so appreciative of his knowledge and the incredible care he offered Haley. We are a month past our visit and Haley is doing so much better and back to walking 2 miles per day.

Dr. Woods and his team are extraordinary at what they do and are all around kind, compassionate and hard working human beings. From the minute you start services with them it is as if they've committed to be with you along the journey to better health and well-being for your furry family member, not just for that single appointment, but "in it" with you. My Belle, a 10 year old Great Dane whom has pretty much been with me through all of life's trials and triumphs, and pretty much by my side most days - at work, on the road for work, travel, fun times, etc.. - who is a joy and sun ray to not only my day, but our family's and to those she meets was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma, bi-lateral lymphoma of her kidneys. I believe this was diagnosed because although I came in with concerns for her cough, Dr. Woods made the decision to do an ultrasound and detected the abnormalities with her kidneys... sigh. After her diagnosis she needed to be immediately seen into an oncologist specialist for the cancer and she was heading into renal failure. I know that she wouldn't have been seen THE NEXT DAY without them helping to make it possible. Last week we almost lost her..but today Belle is stable and will continue treatments in Charleston as long as she has a good quality of life and SVIM and their team will continue to be there as well along the way as we enjoy whatever amount of time she is here with us.
