Dr. Roy Flood earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar. He earned his medical degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Flood went on to do an internship and residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He did a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Flood is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Association of Black Cardiologists and Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention.
