Dr. Michael Babcock earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2007. He did an internship/residency at Wake Forest University, Department of Internal Medicine from 2007 to 2010. Dr. Babcock did a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Florida at Jacksonville from 2010 to 2013, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Wisconsin from 2013-2014. Dr. Babcock is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiovascular Interventions.

Very impressed with the doctor and SJCH! We live an hour away and wasn't able to get into our local Cardiologist for about two months but we were able to get in here very fast. The doctor was personable and ordered test to be done and they were done in the same building the same day of the appointment which I thought was pretty impressive. We definitely will refer to him.
Voted best office staff by me 2025. This office is run so efficiently. My wait time to see the doctor is always under 10 mins, and for the doctor to come in the room, it's the same. He is very friendly and thorough. He takes time to explain things to me. I have never felt rushed her and have always had ALL of my questions and concerns addressed quickly and professionally.

He is one talented dr. I mean really to put a catheter up through your groin and put a valve on your aorta. Just wild to me he's incredible. Thank you so much for the care you took with me and basically a painless surgery
Picture a follow up appointment with your heart doctor (after you have a heart procedure)that is so rushed the doctor talks to you for less than a minute and is out the door before you can ask one question. Clearly this man does not care about his patients. His manor and the vibe he gives off is "im sonebody important and I dont have time to talk to you, goodbye" I will never go back to see him. No explanation No questions No time No respect Please don't go see Dr Babcock. you will leave with questions unanswered and concerns weighing heavy in the back of your mind and most importantly in your heart.
