Dr. Jose Rendon attended medical school at the Autonomous University of Baja California, Baja California, Mexico, where he earned his medical degree. He subsequently finished a residency in internal medicine in Tlaxcala, Mexico, and then finished his residency at Centro Medico in Mexico City, Mexico, where he specialized in cardiology. He was granted a position in Ensenada, Mexico, as the regional cardiologist. Thereafter, he completed his residency program in internal medicine in Savannah at Memorial Health. Dr. Rendon is board certified in internal medicine.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Rendon for years. He and the whole staff are super nice, helpful and get us in and out. If I have any issues, his nurse is always very prompt in getting back with me quickly and helping in any way she can. We love Dr. R, Laura, Nina and the entire staff!
My fiance saw Dr. Rendon for several years and we were never really thrilled about how he provided care for him. We enjoyed going there when his PA, Mallory, was there. She was always so attentive to his needs and got his issues taken care of. His front staff are always so dry. His wife told us to Google some results at one point because she didn't know the answer to something. Once we knew Mallory was gone, we decided to follow her and make an appointment where she was. We never did and decided to call back Rendon's office to schedule an appt and his front staff told me we couldn't be going back and forth, placed me on hold and never came back to the line. The whole place is horrible and they treat Hispanic patients however just because there aren't many Spanish speaking doctors around the area. We definitely switched providers.
I love Dr.Rendon. I am super annoyed with the front desk for refusing to answer me on the second call, I wanted to go to voicemail rather than wait forever for the nurse to answer. It was so rude and ridiculous.
I met Dr. Rendon the 1st day that he took over for Dr. Broderick. My Dad was the patient. He was a handful!! After watching how kind and tolerant he was with that old codger, I felt that he could handle me. So I became his patient shortly after. I have never had such an all around good doctor. Dr. Rendon and staff are professional and compassionate. I trust him completely. Dr. Rendon has seen me several times when I was really ill and solved my problems. He is attentive and down-to-business, which I appreciate. I feel blessed to have Dr. Rendon care for me.
