G Justin Tanner, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. Dr Tanner is deeply committed to the care of all his patients and is driven by his compassion and desire to help his patients lead healthier lives.
Dr Tanner earned his medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, and completed his residency program in internal medicine there as well. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa.
Along with providing his patients with exceptional cardiac care, Dr Tanner enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and doing outdoor activities.

It was wonderful the nurse was very nice and took time to listen to everything I had to say and she was very pleasant. And doctor Tanner was super helpful and friendly and gave me several suggestions on what he wanted me to try out before my next appointment to see if that would help me before he started me on any further medication and for me I thought that was really important.It showed me that he was really trying to help me and not just putting me on more medication but trying to get to the source of the problem which was great to me.And just one more thing I trust him on so many different levels he has restored my confidence in doctors especially with him he always takes the time to listen and he explains everything so that I can understand what he is saying. And I love the fact that he is so young and he is such a wealth of knowledge and if he doesn't know what you are talking to him about he will find out and let you know or he will just let you know that he doesn't have an answer.
