Got there the first time for my appointment for my echo and my carotid artery ultrasound just to find out that my pre-authorization was not yet approved meaning it wasn't handled in the appropriate time to ensure I didn't get there and waste gas and time traveling to Pooler Georgia from Guyton Georgia for no reason and taking off of work to get there. I had to go in on my day off to make up time from that day I felt like it was for nothing I could have just went to work that day. Then I turn around and wrestling with the appointment scheduler to get in with memorial for the same test that I could have just had with them for the next two weeks and had to take off more time for nothing then I had to take off more time for no reason because the first time I actually got there to have my test they were stating that I had to pay $700 and that I had to do both tests or I would be charged another $700 the next day I had my daughter with me so I had to go home I only plan to do one test that day and go back the next day when I had the longer test without my daughter it was just a mess because of one appointment that I had every right to be able to go to but because of something that needed to be done prior to my appointment that wasn't done it calls me additional stress and my health had been greatly delayed with emotions of finding an alternative to get my test done. I finally got two of them done I still have two others on future dates also with them but now I can't figure out what the results are because they're not open and I've been calling for 2 days and I even went up there and the lights were off there's no note no notice no email no message to let us know anything like that it just simply says they are on another call. I can't even get my days cover with my request because they're not available I had to put a note in their door for them to fill out to excuse me at work because the hospital won't do what my job requires we don't take doctors notes my job either does FMLA short-term disability or workplace accommodation which is what I was trying to do which is a simple form explaining how many days off and why but I couldn't get that. I haven't been seen that one time there and I just been all around the place and I'm just more exhausted from when I started. I'll have no choice but to have my primary care provider refer me to a different cardiologist this was not acceptable. Very inconvenient and it took me out of my way unnecessarily several times
