Lewis Arlene A MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Arlene Lewis for approximately 10 years. Dr. Lewis is an outstanding doctor! She is personable and she definitely has an awesome bedside manner. After Dr. Lewis moved from the Hillandale office, she has had a turnover of staff members. They are extremely rude and disrespectful! After calling her office to request an emailed receipt that I never received on 5/7/19, her employee was rude and hung up on me. That behavior is unacceptable and very unprofessional. My 3 STARS are for the horrible treatment and horrible service that I've received on numerous doctor visits!

Horrible front office service. Dr. Arlene is a great doctor, but her staff is the worse in the field of medical receptionist. The receptionist left me on hold for over 10 mins. I have been avoiding going to Dr. Lewis because of the poor service her staff gives. But, if I can ever get to see Dr. Lewis, my services from Dr. Lewis are thoroughly met. It's just getting past the front office. And this is repeatedly, for I have been going to Dr. Lewis for more than 10 years. The receptionist is Brittany, I called back and she declared it was not her who put me on hold and place me on hold again. I'm done!!!!!! So much for trying to support an AA/Female doctor.

My family has been seeing Dr Lewis for about 9yrs. She is wonderful. Sometimes the wait time can be lengthy, but that's because she takes the time to listen & discuss your concerns as well as explain the method of treatment. Kudos to you Dr Lewis. You get my 5 stars!

Great doctor, personable, caring and kind. Alway interested in the patient wellbeing, does not treat you like a number, she treat you like family!!

Office staff is AWFUL, RUDE, INCOMPETENT! Answering service said office opened at 8...first worker didnt arrive until 9, told me they start seeing patients at 10 and the doctor arrives at 11...??? I had been there since 8 and they snidely told me I could wait as if they were doing me a favor and my time meant nothing. How do you start seeing patients at 10 with NO DOCTOR!! AWFUL!! Jamaican extra large woman at front desk needs to get an education to deal with educated people. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL
