It's rare for me to leave a review, but I felt like I had to explain my experience with Dr. Sharma and Northside Hospital. My husband had to get a heart ablation done, and it was pretty nerve-racking, but they called me with updates during the procedure and that alone gave me peace of mind. But what stood out to me the most, was the aftercare my he received after his procedure. My husband did feel a little light headed the day after and the second I called Northside, they connected me to Dr. Sharma right away. He guided me on what to do over the phone, and he made it a priority to see my husband as quickly as possible. Within the next hour he had an appointment, and they did some tests right away to rule out anything serious. Dr. Sharma was present throughout all the tests, and you could tell he cared about my husband. He made the experience personal, and was very attentive to our needs. I have never experienced or witnessed such care from a provider.

Doctor Sharma is wonderful and caring besides being an excellent cardiologist. He called my husband on the holiday Friday after
Thanksgiving about a serious bout of Atrial Fibrillation. Not many Doctors would care enough to do that..... his staff is also patient with us older patients, we highly recommend this Doctor. I see someone did a negative review that has nothing to do with what kind of doctor he is , it should be removed. People need to realize if a patient is having heart issues while in the office the visit schedule might get delayed but I am sure if you had an emergency you would be thankful time was being given to you and not be ignored so the scheduling could be more timely. Reschedule next time you do not want to wait for this great doctor to take of his patients.
