About Dr. Dr. Markus T. Porkert, MD

Dr. Markus Porkert is a general cardiologist who has been practicing in Gwinnett since 2006. Dr. Porkert completed his MD degrees at Emory University where he was a member of the Medical Honor Society AOA. He completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and a fellowship in cardiology at Emory University. Dr. Porkert is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He enjoys seeing patients with any cardiac condition from preventative care to more complicated cases of coronary and peripheral arterial disease and heart failure. Dr. Porkert cares for patients in our Snellville office.
