I had a wonderful experience at Wellstar Pulmonary Rehab (which shares space with Cardiac Rehab). Althea and Caretha taught me so many things! I learned to breathe properly using my diaphragm; good ways to exercise; how to check my oxygen level, heart rate and blood pressure; warmup and cooldown movements; and much more. I also had a dietitian session to learn more about healthy eating. When I started, I couldn't go from one room to another without losing my breath; after 3 months of twice-a-week workouts, I can walk more than 20 minutes without stopping. They gave me my life back, and I'm so appreciative.
