This doctor's office is a complete joke. If you truly care about your health, please go anywhere else. I recently switched to this primary care office, and while Temeka is amazing--compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly dedicated--she's the only medical provider there. She's completely overworked, and it shows. The wait times are unacceptable. I was seen at 10:30 a.m. for being sick, and when I called later to check on my prescriptions, I was told that Temeka has to finish seeing all her patients before entering prescriptions, usually during the last hour of her shift. I was told to wait 24-48 hours for my medication while sick. That's both unsafe and unethical. No patient should have to wait that long for a prescription after being evaluated by their doctor. Delaying medication can worsen illness, delay recovery, and even cause complications. According to the American Medical Association's Code of Ethics, physicians have a duty to provide timely care and prevent avoidable harm. If a clinic knows that prescriptions will take days to process, it should fix its system immediately--or stop accepting more patients than it can safely manage. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I would have been better off going to urgent care than my own primary care provider. This office either needs serious changes in management or should close its doors if it can't provide timely, safe care to its patients.

Please do not go here. If you care about your health and well-being, I strongly recommend finding another primary care physician. I went in with medical concerns and requested labs to better understand my condition. I followed up repeatedly, calling the office for results, but they never answered. I even tried going in person, only to find the office closed on a Friday, despite Google showing they were supposed to be open. When I finally saw my OB-GYN, their office requested the results from Dr. McGarity's office, only to discover that my labs had been improperly submitted, causing the lab to reject my specimen. No one informed me of this until my OB's office reached out. Despite my consistent calls and assurances from the nurse practitioner that I would get follow-up, they had no intention of telling me. Now I have to redo all my labs and hope no medical issue has gone undetected during this delay. I am extremely disappointed in the new staff and nurse practitioners.

I have been a patient at this practice for over 5 years, and I am extremely disappointed with the recent changes in how they handle prescriptions and patient care. I've been on a prescription for years, and now I'm being told that I must visit every three months just to get refills. This new policy seems unnecessary and frustrating, especially when I've been stable on this medication for such a long time. While the Nurse Practitioners are great and provide excellent care, I find the overall experience with this practice to be consistently lacking. The wait times are always excessively long, and I've encountered several issues with getting prescriptions filled on time. Additionally, the office hours are inconsistent, which only adds to the frustration. I've also been promised return phone calls multiple times, but they never come through. I honestly don't know why I haven't switched providers sooner. It's incredibly disheartening after being a loyal patient for so long. I truly hope they take patient feedback seriously and make improvements to better serve those who rely on them for care.

I was a patient for over ten years and enjoyed the practice so much that I sent the staff Godiva gifts every holiday. I felt cared for and valued. Today, I requested my complete chart and am on the hunt for a new practice. In the past year the owner sold to a healthcare management company and standards have been in a tailspin with no bottom in sight. I confirm the experience of other reviewers that they do not return calls, handle refill requests and have excessive wait times. I went without my annual physical or prescriptions for five months accepting excuses and promises to follow-up that never materialized. I understand challenges during transition, but the lack of concern or accountability is truly unacceptable for any provider that claims to be in the medical field. They have reduced staffing levels, increased fees, and abandoned any pretense at professionalism. I accepted the dingy environment as part of the charm under the previous team, but given the current team's appalling treatment of me as a patient I strongly urge you to go elsewhere.
