Very pushy about medical treatment If you don't want to do what she wants you to do she will withhold your prescriptions My prescription for heart rhythm was not to be refilled by CVS I called and they told me that she told them not to refill it. I asked the pharmacy what will happen with out them and they said my heart will go out of rhythm Not to good

Listens to what you have to say . Her compassionate, easy going demeanor makes me feel comfortable and not anxious. ( I am typically anxious at Dr. Appointments) I trust her judgment as a doctor .

This "Dr." was someone I would not recommend to anyone. She didn't listen to anything I had to say. She seemed either extremely distracted, under deress, or on drugs. She didn't speak in full sentences (was all over the place), seemed to mumble to herself alot, would just randomly walk out of the room (even while talking) or being talked to, was constantly picking at her hair or her arms, shook constantly, rarely ever made eye contact, would ask me a question and either cut me off or shushed me, making it impossible to follow what was going on, or even communicate on any kind of productive level. She raised her voice at me on a couple of occasions, made open judgements about me based on my financial abilities and my age. When I tried to explain my wife was working, so I would like to know what could be done and what she ( the dr.) thought I might need, and then allow us to decide what we could afford or might need assistance with, she then looked at my wife and said, and I quote " Are you the wife or the girlfriend?".... which was offensive and un professional, and that is just one example of how unprofessional this visit was. I was extremely disappointed. I cannot in good faith continue to see her, and I will not recommend her to anyone. If your having issues that require a cardiologist, find another "Dr." if you can.

Dr. Carol Gruver is a wonderful cardiologist and very knowledgeable. We travel from Chattanooga to see her with no hesitation.
