Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology - Cumming

Loved this place! All the nurses, technicians, and the doctor made us feel so calm and informed while going through something that made us very anxious. It was a quick visit, we immediately got answers about our son, and everyone was so incredibly nice! It's quite a drive for us to see this doctor, but I don't mind to make the journey bc I liked her and the staff so much!

Love, love, love Dr Kropf. She's so caring and compassionate. She always listens and takes her time. Very motherly feeling. Exactly what you want in a pediatric Dr. Can't say enough good things about her and her staff. Her office is amazing!

Heart Parent Warning - Children's Healthcare of Atlanta yesterday, on August 7th at 1:40pm, we had what was supposed to be a routine follow up appointment for Paisley's VSD. up until now, we've had nothing but positive experiences with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, we've trusted them with some of the most vulnerable moments of our daughter's life. but yesterday... something happened that i cannot stay silent about. during her echo, Paisley, who is just 16 months old, was clearly distressed. she's a baby, in a cold room, being asked to stay still in an unfamiliar environment. i was calmly doing what any loving parent would do which was trying to soothe her, gently and patiently. but the ultrasound technician, Rebecca, began making sharp, condescending comments toward her like: "i had the right place until you moved and now i don't!" as if she was the problem. and then, completely out of nowhere, she raised her voice at Paisley. not once. but twice. "DO YOU WANT TO BE DONE?!" said aggressively and directed at a baby, twice!! i was stunned. there's no excuse for speaking to any child that way, much less one who is medically fragile and terrified. as we were leaving, the rest of the staff, the ENTIRE team, began apologizing profusely for her behavior. without me saying a word, they acknowledged it. one even handed me a Starbucks gift card. let that sink in. they knew what happened. they saw it. and instead of accountability, i was handed a coffee gift card. like my silence could be bought. this is my warning to every other heart parent who walks into that office with a tired soul and a brave child: Do NOT let Rebecca anywhere near your baby. our children fight so hard already. they deserve gentle hands. soft voices. respect. and so do we, the parents who show up every day with our hearts on the outside of our bodies.

My two year old has a congenital heart defect and we have been to this office many times! It is always a wonderful experience. Dr. Iannucci and all the staff work hard to put my child at ease even though that is a very difficult job with a toddler. All of my (many) questions are always answered thoroughly and I never feel rushed. The quality of his care is fantastic- the cardiologist, surgeons and others work as a team to care for him.

Very Satisfied !!!! Staff was very patient with my son during his visit. I'd recommend my friends, family and even coworkers to come here . They treated my child as if he was there own child. Staff went above and beyond to make my son and me feel welcome and comfortable during his visit. Very clean and comfortable environment Doctor was Polite and respectful and was eager to answer any questions I needed answered.
