Dr. Bhandiwad is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your concerns. She makes sure all of your questions are answered and that you feel comfortable with your visit.
I found Dr. Bhandiwad to be dismissive and condescending, and will not be going back. The primary reason I would rate this doctor a one star though is how much time she devoted (in multiple appointments) to quizzing me about my reproductive health after telling her repeatedly I have no plans to get pregnant. I get that hypertensive medications can cause fetal harm... but for someone who isn't pregnant and doesn't plan to be, why would you limit treatment options? Why would you refuse to try drugs that have worked for a patient in the past out of concern for a hypothetical future fetus? Make it make sense. Also, wait time in the office is crazy. They can't draw labs in their office so if you require any bloodwork expect to have to schlep to a LabCorp facility.
