From the moment we arrived, the admitting clerk in Patient Access was incredibly personable. Her bubbly personality was the perfect way to ease our nerves during an early morning start. I wish I remembered her name--(Bonnie?)she was in Room 2 with a bob-cut hairstyle--but her warm presence and bubbly personality truly set a positive tone for the entire visit. It spoke "you're in good hands here". She has no idea how much that meant to us. Thank you.
My grandson had his out patient surgery on November 19th, and the entire experience was excellent. The team was kind, respectful, and deeply committed to providing quality care. Mrs. Christine, his recovery nurse, has a nurturing spirit filled with compassion. The way she cared for my five-year-old grandson was gentle, patient, and loving-like the comforting touch of a grandmother. She was quite funny too.
Our doctor, Dr. Rhodes, is absolutely phenomenal with children. If anyone is looking for an exceptional medical team specializing in Ear, Nose, and Throat, St. Francis has one of the best. Mrs. Lisa, the ENT scheduling coordinator, was also wonderful-warm, knowledgeable, and extremely supportive throughout the process.
I'm not surprised by the level of care we received; St. Francis has consistently provided five-star service to this community for as long as I can remember. Excellent job to the entire team for delivering such an exceptional experience to their patients.

This past week, I delivered my son here. From L&D to the PP unit, all staff were very thorough and professional. My L&D nurse who admitted me (cannot recall her name) made sure she explained everything to my understanding if I had any questions the night I was being induced. My nurse the following day that I delivered, Tori, was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable under her care. Dr. Thorne, who I have been seeing since finding out I was expecting, cannot be recommended enough. He has the best bedside manner and truly cares for each of his patients like family. I would recommend St Francis to anyone and would definitely deliver here again.

I had a great experience at St Francis from check in at Pre-op to surgery day all was timely and smooth. I didn't wait more than a few minutes for anything. The sweetest lady checked me for the pre-op and was so kind and helpful. The day of surgery was quick check in and my nurse was fantastic. I don't remember much afterwards but I have all positive things to say about the staff and facility.

As I write this, I should have written this more than a year ago, but this review is as valid then as it is now. My mother had a heart block and as a retired practitioner, she simply assumed that she had an upper respiratory infection. However, as I said upfront, she had a heart block or a very low heart rate.
After a few days of not getting better, she went to her own doctor and they immediately sent her to St. Francis ER.
When she arrived, she was immediately triaged, brought in for immediate care and observation.
The heart team came in and started attending to her and before long, realized that she was going to need a sport pacemaker. The cath lab team was excellent and she was then moved to one of their units. In PVI, she received excellent care, awesome & passionate are the words that come to mind.
She was eventually moved to PCS and continued to receive excellent care.
All said and done, during her 7 days of heart surgery and heart care & recovery she received 5 star service, her words, not mine. From the dietary team that made sure she had the foods and ginger ale that she wanted, to the doctors and nurses, St. Francis delivered excellent care.

I am fairly new to the Columbus, Georgia area, moving here from the West so really didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received entering the emergency room and how nice and accommodating everyone was. I was hospitalized for 4 days and received great care. Thank you. Only one problem--my family had difficulty finding my room. Apparently there is need for someone to help people navigate the "crazy" layout of the hospital. Maybe even a map?
