Please do NOT go here!!! For the sake of my mental sanity and yours... find a different MFM clinic to help you. It has taken a lot of courage and emotion to write this. I started seeing them during my 29th week of pregnancy and was diagnosed with a UGR. Firstly, I saw the male Dr who scared the mess out of me and my fiance. It was a quick 5 minute conversation with no compassion..no emotion..no eye contact. I saw them weekly..every Thursday morning. I saw them only because i was concerned for my child's health...but that didn't even matter. Fast forward I was scheduled to be induced 09/28. I saw them for my very last appointment on 09/25 and it was a growth scan. I noticed that her head was measuring 29w gestation when I was days away from being 37 weeks. I expressed my concern to them as to why her head was about 8 weeks smaller then the rest of her body. The Doctors response...with an attitude was "she's just a small baby. " and said have a nice day. Fast forward to after har birth...SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MICROCEPHALY!!!!The drs who have evaluated her said that due to severity it should have been caught while I was pregnant. THESE PEOPLE LOOKED AT HER HEAD AND BRAIN WEEKLY!!!! I ended up looking back at all of the ultrasound interpretations from there...come to find out her head STOPPED GROWING after 29 weeks and they NEVER TOLD ME! They always said to me weekly..she's stable we will continue to monitor. I have even expressed concern during the pregnancy that her fetal movements have severely decreased and they brushed it off with an "as long as she is achieving 10 movements every few hours" I TOLD THEM SHE ONLY ACHIEVED THAT MUCH A DAY TO MY KNOWLEDGE!!! These so called specialists DO NOT CARE ! There was only one ultrasound tech that I truly liked. I wish I remembered her name because she was amazing. Everyone else including the doctors hate their life in that clinic. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN! No one truly understands the anger I have with this place. My life and my child's life are forever completely changed because of this. Even if there was nothing they could have done... a sense of knowing what was to be expected once she was born would have been better. Please take this into consideration before you even schedule an apt.

I had an appointment with Piedmont MFM a couple of days ago and had a very good experience. The phone call to book my first appointment was very accommodating. When I checked in and out, the girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The woman who did my triage was super kind and gentle. The ultrasound tech made me feel very comfortable and pointed out different structures of the baby's anatomy which was very awesome to see. Most importantly, Dr. Tanner was so patient with the tons of questions I asked and she answered each one thoroughly and made sure I understood. I felt very cared for.

This place is awful! The staff clearly dislikes their jobs and has no interest in making you feel comfortable. This is my third experience with a Piedmont facility, and I now see that being rude and disorganized is common practice for them. The woman who takes vitals here is cold and unwelcoming. Your spouse or support person is also not allowed to accompany you for vitals, which is a ridiculous rule with no clear justification. People are not informed of this beforehand, so when your support person tries to follow you, they are told to sit back down. The staff in the back, as well as the high-risk OBS, do not communicate effectively. They simply act on whatever they feel is necessary. I spoke with two high-risk OBS, but I haven't seen them since the first few visits. During my first encounter, I explained that I was knowledgeable about my condition and had been managing it well. However, it seemed like he lacked knowledge and resorted to fear-mongering tactics to pressure me into scheduling multiple appointments. He warned me about the possibility of preeclampsia, said the end of my pregnancy could be challenging, and claimed my baby may be large due to gestational diabetes, potentially necessitating a C-section, among other things. I informed him that I eat healthily and exercise, which is why my blood sugar numbers were good; I understand they can increase due to hormones, which is why I monitor them more frequently. He also seemed unaware of nutrition or exercise guidelines for high-risk pregnancies. They conducted test after test, but found absolutely nothing abnormal with my baby; everything was within the normal range. Their diabetic "specialist" put me on an insulin regimen that caused my blood sugars to remain constantly low, stating that a level of 50 was normal because they wanted to make sure my baby didn't become bigger and stay normal. I had communicated to her that I experienced shaking, sweating, and heart palpitations when my numbers dropped below 80, but she did not listen. Fortunately, I have enough knowledge about my body to know what works for me, so I chose not to continue with her suggested regimen, and my baby continued to grow normally. Had I followed their advice, I could have experienced a seizure or even worse. During my last appointment, a staff member casually mentioned scheduling my delivery and asked if I had chosen a date. I was shocked, and she seemed startled by her own remark after looking at my facial expression. After leaving to "check on some things," she returned without bringing it up again but asked me to schedule my next appointment. It felt as if they were looking for reasons to schedule a C-section, despite my successful vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) at another hospital during my previous pregnancy. Being there did not instill any confidence in their ability to care for me and my baby, so I ultimately switched practices very late in my pregnancy. If you can find a better place, please choose somewhere that actually cares. If you can find a better place, please choose somewhere that actually cares. Your pregnancy experience is one you'll never forget so do what's best for you and your baby.

Today was my last day being seen at this office, and honestly, I'm glad I didn't even stay my whole visit because I had my children waiting in the car, which I hate doing. I had to be seen here with my twins in 2023 and now this pregnancy with my singleton. Honestly, when Dr. Seibles was running it solo, she was timely and organized, no issues. Now that there are more doctors, they seem to have fallen off with their time management, which would not be a problem if we weren't a military family with two young children and no additional childcare. This is the first office I have ever been to that does not allow children to sit in the waiting room with an adult. My husband and my children were made to leave, sit in the hallway, or the car while I attended my appointments alone. So, to all my military spouses and stay-at-home moms, I would not recommend this location if you do not have childcare or your husband is unable to support you. My husband left work each time to meet me but he never got to see our baby he just waited with our children and some times you're here over an hour or more...There is a location in Newnan you can always switch to via Tricare.

Transient people coughing and begging for money in the lobby. Ladies at reception, kind and professional. Triage nurse, ignorantly abrasive. Ultrasound tech, kind and professional. Doctor S, knowledgable but condescending. You get exactly what you would expect at any money making corporation.
