Jefferson Jones, Sr., M.D., earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He then completed a family medicine residency at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC and then the Family Medicine Residency Program at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA. Dr. Jones is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Practice and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr Jones has always been a caring physician who takes time to listen to my concerns, asks additional questions and addresses my concerns. He always comes in, sits down, and asks how I am, he never seems to be in hurry to rush me out - treat and release the way so many physicians do, he takes time to really listen.
Years ago, I had abdominal pain, but was not exhibiting any of the telltale signs of appendicitis. I was sent for a transvaginal ultrasound, and it did not indicate appendicitis when read by the radiologist. Dr Jones then sent me for a CT after arguing with the radiologist, he told them, that they didnt know this patient,.something was wrong. Dr Jones was right, the took me straight to surgery. He never hesitates to fight for his patients.

The man in black is alright by me. Dr. Jones, Lisa, Gwen, and Verna have been taking care of my family for 20+ years. I don't understand why he doesn't have a perfect 5 star rating. I guess you can't please everybody.
