i came in this morning with my boyfriend, i want to add the doctor did great and he was quick. the am nurse julie was also kind and quick with us. i'm putting 3 stars because our first hour and a half that we were there the original nurse mackenzie did not come into the room when we called the nurse light. my boyfriend was in extreme pain and needed something, anything. she didn't check in or anything. we just sat there in a room forgotten about.

Was there last night and I had one of many bad experiences here again. I have asthma so a lot of times I have to go there because I literally can't breath. 5% of the time you will find a good doctor and staff the other 95% they will literally let you die. They don't care and they truly don't know what they are doing. Dr. tried to give me medicine that I had just told him I'm allergic to and it was also in my chart, nurse acted confused when I told her and tried to make up an excuse. If you can, just drive 35 more minutes and go to a different hospital, this hospital is truly the worst.

WARNING!! Negligent ER doctor on duty! Previously sued for Malpractice and was found personally liable!! If you are assigned Matthew Womack, immediately request a different doctor. This man is extremely dismissive and should not be trusted with any patient care, let alone emergency care. That was already what I observed before coming across Womack v. Buckelew. Not only did he neglect to properly inform on the patient's condition (resulting in permanent disability) he was found to have changed medical records after the fact.
Unless there is a different ER Doctor Matthew Womack in the state of Georgia who previously worked at North Fulton Wellstar, it seems highly likely that this is the guy. He was dismissive, arrogant, and rude. Document your visit if you are assigned this man, and have no other option.

I went to the hospital at Cartersville at Piedmont last night and I'm not mad at the nurses but that doctor and named Matthew Womack and he gave me some medicine for diarrhea and I took one pill today and it had coin and milk in it that I am allergic to that's on my food allergy list. And now I'm having a reaction to that medicine and this doctor is going to get a bad review from me but like I said the nurses and the people at the front desk were nice
