If I could, I would put this rating in the negatives. It is not acceptable to tell your patient you do not like it when they bring in questions to ask and refuse to answer them. We were accused of missing appointments and when we pulled out our discharge sheets from every appointment, she promptly left the room. SHE attempted to cancel several follow-up appointments we had in different departments, I had to turn around, reschedule those appointments so we could make progress in our goal of receiving a heart transplant. When we were hospitalized a second time, she was informed on Monday, didn't stop by until Friday and spent the entire 10 minutes she was with us texting, then left the room without saying a word. I could continue to go on and on but I have reported her to AU, and plan on going as far as I can. If husband wasn't facing undergoing heart transplant surgery, I would look into what a medical malpractice lawsuit would entail to possibly bring one against this woman.
