I would like to give this update July 22, 2025, concerning my wife Margaret. She exercised three days a week, oversaw the hospitality team at the church, and was a member of the health care team. In addition, she was active with the grandkids, travel frequently, and stun others who never heard her complain of having problems with her head. She had a MRI brain scan in 2022, another in 2023, that was stopped. She said it was an equipment malfunction so, another was scheduled in January 2025. I told her the night before not to get it done because she was not having problems with her head. If she had known she was not coming home and was going to the morgue and funeral home, she wouldn't have had it done. She had no brain response from January 13th until she was declared dead on the 19th, which means she was dead on the 13th. The doctor said this same thing happened to him 20 years ago, so why wasn't protocols in place to prevent this from happening. We were married for 42 years, and it disappointed me that she listened to someone she didn't even know. I won't change my ratings because the nurses were awesome and I won't say anything about the doctor because if you don't have anything good to say about a person, don't say anything. With that being said, I would highly recommend and suggest to anyone having any issues with their head that requires looking at your brain "PLEASE, PLEASE," get a second and even a third opinion. According to Google search, it is extremely rare to die from this procedure and happens in 1 in 400,000 cases. Now, my wife makes number 2. May my wife Margaret rest in peace and GOD bless her soul. She was always smiling and loved by all whom knew her. GOD bless, Howard I would like to take this opportunity to thank and recognize the nurses on the 5th floor West, ICU department. Anna, Trina, Kristine, Emily, Kayle, Aubrey, and James. I also would like to thank Ebone; Family Care Coordinator (FCC). Excuse me if I left a name off. Your kindness and commitment enabled you to provide the best care possible, ensuring my wife Margaret was comfortable and well taken care of from January 13 to 20. Even though the outcome wasn't what everyone were expecting, I humble myself to all of you to say, 'thank you very, very much. Please continue your great work as God will continue to reward and bless you. Mr. McKinney

I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Darnelle Nimalka Ambo, MD, and I'm honestly blown away. From the moment she stepped into the room, her energy was calm, kind, and genuinely attentive. She didn't just listen, she heard me. She asked smart questions, explained things with clarity, and made me feel like my concerns actually mattered. There's something rare about a doctor who balances professionalism with true compassion, and she has mastered it. You can feel how much she cares about her patients, and that alone sets her miles above most. I left her office feeling understood, supported, and more confident about my health than I have in a long time. If you've been looking for a doctor who goes above and beyond and someone who treats you with respect, patience, and real humanity! Ambo is the one. She's a gem in the medical world, and I'm grateful I found her.

My father has been admitted for a week now and his medical team has been amazing. They saved my father's life numerous times. This is why I am giving 5 stars. They have recommended that he have 3 hours a day of inpatient OT upon his discharge. Unfortunately his hospital Social Worker did not put in due diligence and had him admitted into a 1 hour a day facility against our wishes. We tried to have her correct it but she would not and her reason was "Once we get them approved for one, we don't typically change it." If you go to this hospital and you or your loved one needs OT I highly recommend contacting the head of the Social Services department. Because you want your loved one to get the care that the doctors recommend.

I went to the ER for Afib with RVR in the early morning of October 13th. My peak heart rate was 183 bpm on my Apple Watch which confirmed I was in Afib. As soon as I gave the lady at the counter my info a nurse called my name. She led me into a room and with her assistant took my vitals and did an ECG. Then I was wheeled into a cubicle in the ER, was given an IV by Nurses Natalie and Brian and was seen by Dr. Brosnahan within 5-7 minutes. He asked me all the right questions (I've been through this before) and prescribed a medication for injection and later IV that had my heart rate below 100 by the time I was given a room on the 3rd floor cardiac wing two hours later. It was a textbook perfect ER experience from all involved. Dr. Bauman, the cardiologist who saw me later that morning with his male PA (sorry I forgot your name!) were both attentive and thorough and listened to all my concerns. Dr. Bauman changed my at-home medications and recommended ablation, which I'm in the process of setting up. I was given a stress test and an echocardiogram. Later that evening my heart reverted to sinus rhythm on its own! I was brought up to a 4th floor room and discharged around noon the next day. All the nurses assigned to my rooms were kind and attentive. The housekeeping lady had me in stitches telling me stories about her rambunctious son while she cleaned. The ladies and gentleman who did my stress test were very friendly, as was the lovely Filipina girl who administered my echo. Special praise for the check-in and check-out ladies from Atlanta on the TV screen. They went over everything in detail. The food was fine, it wasn't noisy in the rooms, if there's anything or anyone I forgot to mention they were great too. Many thanks to everyone!
