Dr. Wangsnes saw my husband first and called Dr. Suzuki which happened to be the surgeon that was on call the night that my husband had to have quadruple bypass surgery. Dr. Suzuki stated that my husband needed the surgery immediately or he would not make it through the night. He performed the surgery that night. We have been to two appointments at his office and both of them were very pleasant. Dr Suzuki wants you to ask questions for him to answer. He is straight forward. In my opinion we could not have asked for a better surgeon to take care of my husband. Thank you for all of your help. The nursing staff on the heart ICU floor were all awesome. Very helpful and willing to make patient comfortable. All staffing at the hospital was very helpful and willing to help make my husband better.

I recently had an outstanding experience when I called in to Heart & Vascular Associates to request an appointment for a second opinion. The lady who took my call was not only helpful but one of the most efficient I have encountered, particularly noticeable being that I was calling on Monday, Dec 31st which many still view as the "holidays". In fact, the first office I called in town was closed. My visit with Dr. Harper was unhurried and thorough and the entire team made a favorable impression on me. Hopefully my visits will be limited but if I need to return, I'm confident I'll be in good hands.

Had a ultrasound done on my right leg today. My first time at the Heart & Vascular Institute. Everyone was so helpful and nice. Cannot say enough about my experience. It was wonderful. Thank you all !!!

Dr. Utz has saved both my life AND my husband's life. Dr. Utz is a dedicated professional who cares for her patients with compassion. She listens to her patients and treats each patient appropriately.

I recently had a Pacemaker implanted into my body it was very very small they were able to be inserted through my groin area I hardly recommend the Heart and Vascular center at University Hospital
