Sara Mobasseri, MD

I saw Dr. Mobasseri for the first time today for a consult and I truly appreciate the care and attentiveness she provided -- it's rare to encounter a doctor who not only explains things in ways you can understand (and double checks to ensure you understand), but also is so personable and affirming of a patient's stated experience. She actually sat down with me to ask questions and explore my symptoms, shared things about my history that proves she actually looked at my chart (which I always question whether a provider does), made me feel like she genuinely cared about my well-being, and even walked me out to check-out to make sure the team took the proper next steps (I'm so used to the front desk team relying on notes in a chart)! This experience was honestly one of the best I've had at a doctor's office, I'm so appreciative and I commend Dr. Mobasseri's excellent approach to care!

Sara Mobasseri MD is a bright and experienced cardiologist who is very thorough. She is up-to-date and quite practical and easy to understand. She has that rare talent of being able to understand the patient's perspective. I highly recommend her.

Dr Mobasseri is an excellent cardiologist. I've been seeing her since approximately 2017 and she's provided invaluable medical care over the years that I very much appreciate. There are tons of cardiologists near me but I drive to Atlanta every 6 months, or more if need be, to see Dr. Mobasseri. When I find a really great doctor who cares I stick with them and Dr. Mobasseri is among the very best!

I have toiled with posting this review but here goes. This is my second review. My appointment with Dr. Sara Mobasseri was one I will not forget!. I wasn't feeling my best on that day however I was stuck on Collier Road (the worst road to piedmont) for 40 minutes after driving 1 hour and 5 minutes to a much needed appointment.. I constantly called the office to update them of the issue. I was promised that notes were being place in my file and that the doctor was being get abreast of my arrival. I was given the grace period however I was still five (5 minutes) over that upon my arrival to the front desk I was told they had to check to see if the doctor would still see me and yes I was told that the doctor would not see me and turned away! As I sat in my vehicle not feeling my best I question who does THAT!!! I was devastated and I have called several times to speak to the office manager but to no avail! I am writing this post because this could have gone another way still I do have other health challenges and I'm sure the stress of it all did affect me that day and not for the good. I would say with all that is going on in life we are all EQUAL and let's be a little more compassion and sensitive. Just know this was not a good call to make!

Dr. Mobasserie is a warm and caring physician. She takes time to listen to your concerns, answer questions and explain things in layman's term that are easily understandable. She also includes you in decision making about your care. She really care about her patients, and I'm very pleased to have her as my cardiologist.
