Marcus Lamont Brown, MD

I've been going to Dr. Brown since 2014. I thank God for him. He has always made me feel comfortable. Whether, it's with a procedure or medication he really listens and genuinely care about my well being. Thats hard to find in the healthcare community.

My husband just recently had an appointment December 23rd. It was a new patient appointment. Dr. Brown was compassionate, thorough, most of all we felt heard and he discussed our concerns. We left that office visit with answers and a lot more. We traveled 2 hours to see Dr. Brown and it was worth it!!!! Will do it again

I was rather disappointed after my visit with Dr. Brown. He appears to be very knowledgable (and I was torn in writing this review); however, he had already formed a biased opinion of me based on a previous doctor who would not provide thorough care. As females, unfortunately, our care is not always taken seriously and we often have to advocate for ourselves. However, regardless of what a previous doctor's opinion/interaction with the patient has been, the referred physician should still listen and base care on their interaction and discussion with the patient; and not solely base it on notes or discussion with a colleague. Again, I was very disappointed and rather hurt that Dr. Brown chose to say negative things about me to his assistant (he did not realize that I heard him discussing me) after talking with me for only a few minutes, as it was based on notes/discussion from a colleague who did not like that I advocated for my healthcare; and his assistant was embarrassed and speechless after she realized that I overheard the conversation. I truly hoped to have a good experience since I saw all of the positive reviews. This experience has made me very distrustful of him as a doctor, knowing he had already formed an opion prior to my arrival at his office and had the immaturity and unprofessionalism to negatively discuss me with his assistant outside of the examining room. As patients, we are literally putting our lives in a doctor's hands and should be treated with care and respect, not bias.

Dr. Brown saved my husband's life. His bedside manner was excellent. He is truly a gift to the Atlanta medicine mecca. We are forever grateful to him!

I had a great visit with Dr. Marcus Brown today! He was very thorough, detailed, genteel and knowledgeable. I was very impressed. His staff at the Peachtree Dunwoody office were friendly and helpful. Northside did a great job in choosing him as one of their cardiology doctors. I highly recommend him.
