Laura Diamandopoulos MD

I was referred to Dr. Laura Diamandopoulos by my primary care physician, Dr. Elisabeth Smith (who is also amazing), and I'm so glad she did. Dr. Laura is an exceptionally good cardiologist, and I feel so fortunate to have her in Athens, GA. St. Mary's is very lucky to have her on their team as well. Dr. Laura's approach is both compassionate and professional. She takes the time to listen, answer all questions, and make sure her patient fully understands her health issues, reasons for ordering tests and treatment options. She truly cares about her patients, and that makes all the difference when you're dealing with a health concern. She's thorough, knowledgeable, and doesn't rush you in appointments. I feel so much more informed about my health after seeing her. If you're looking for a caring, dedicated cardiologist, I highly recommend Dr. Diamandopoulos.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Laura Diamandopoulos yesterday, she is really detailed and takes her time to listen to her patient's concerns. You can tell that she is genuinely interested in the wellbeing of her patients. It's a 5 star for me!

We are so happy with Dr. D! She was on time, thorough and explained everything in as much detail as we needed to hear it. She would think out loud and add or subtract to/from her treatment plan depending on her answer. We actually liked that process because as she was explaining this to herself, we were also hearing it in real time. My husband will be switching from his Cardiologist to her as well.

Dr. Laura took extra time to explain my situation with me and my wife (over the phone). I felt more reassured with her treatment and accessing my condition. I fell comfortable moving forward.

I absolutely love Dr. Diamandopoulos she listens to her patients and tries everything in her power to help them I greatly appreciate everything she's done for me...
