Dr. Doughan is a highly skilled professional, yet is down to Earth and personable. I never feel rushed or unsure about asking questions. The office staff are also extremely professional and equally, personable. Not surprised the office is always busy; but I've only once had a delay in 3 years..and that was due to an emergency prior my arrival
I have been a patient at Atlanta Heart for eight years. The staff service is very good and pleasant. Dr. Doughan is a very good doctor. He takes time and talk with you to make sure all questions and concerns has been addressed. Thanks Dr. Doughan.
If I advise that I'm coming in for pre operative testing and the testing can all be done the same day as the appointment, why would you schedule me for an evening appointment. The staff answering and scheduling needs to be more mindful when scheduling appointments. The nurse who pregnant behind the desk was so funky.... Her demeanor was horrible.... The staff otherwise was pleasant the guy tech was amazing doctor amazing!!! If you're going to work in spaces where it requires patient empathy, be empathetic otherwise find another job.
De Smith and his entire staff are very helpful. I had a reaction from something associated with the heart monitor. On the 2nd day of wearing it, I returned to the office and they removed it because of the reaction, and recommended that I use witch hazel and Benadryl. The contacts left marks but they appear to be fading. When I returned for the Echo, again the tech who administered the test. was helpful and addressed any concerns and answered any questions. Braden, who monitored my stress test did likewise, making sure I did not over exert through closely monitoring asking questions. Today. Dr Smith went over the tests, answering any Questions, concerns.
The stress test was not as bad as expected. I was nervous and wasn't sure what to expect. Some of the other patients had questions. I think more information o explaining what is involved in the stress test should be provided ahead of time. Otherwise , everything was fine.
