Dr. Choubey seems a little gruff at first, but I've been seeing him for 8 years and have learned he is very kind & caring. I trusted him with my life and will do so again when necessary.

Dr. Choubey seems a little gruff at first, but I've been seeing him for 8 years and have learned he is very kind & caring. I trusted him with my life and will do so again when necessary.
I have received nothing but the best of care from Dr. Rakesh Choubey and his staff. The office is well-run, efficient, with a warm and positive attitude. Dr. Choubey Yeahis always thorough with my care and takes the time to ask me if I have questions and provides me with complete answers.
I have been seen by Dr Choubey for cardiac care for 2 years. At my visit today, he said he had never seen me before. He was quite rude and did not even share with me the results of the EKG he requested before my visit. His staff, however, is very pleasant and helpful. I left feeling very upset.
Dr Choubey was thorough in explaining my condition and why he was ordering the tests he did. His staff that did my stress test today were incredible (Dan and Dee) I've almost always had reactions to the medicine (vomiting, chest pain, etc) but they made me feel at ease and before I knew it we were done They all seemed really care.
1 STAR, CUZ CAN'T DO 'MINUS' STARS ! 1. Went for 'scheduled echo' prior to appt. 2 . Arrived for 2:30 appt. at approximately 2:20 3. Receptionist asked me if I had gone for my EKG. I said 'no', didn't know about it, just the ECHO. She sends me to lab for EKG AT THIS TIME, before Dr. would see me. Returned to Receptionist approximately 2:50 pm. Nurse did weight/BP, usual preliminaries for Dr. 4. Waited for Dr. in exam room for about 40 minutes. (I was so aggravated at Dr. by this time, I had planned to 'walk out' after an hour of waiting. 5. Expecting to hear results, in layman's terms, of ECHO & EKG, an incoming call on his cell came in and he took it! RUDE! AND, I got mumble jumble that didn't mean anything to me. All that was understandable was that he wanted me to change meds from $0 Lisinopril to $650+ Entresto. Never told about pricing (Every Dr. I'VE ever had gave me a 'heads-up' on pricing. Net Dr. 'Time' in exam room was about 10 minutes . He took an incoming cell call for about 20-25 minutes. I COULDN'T BELIEVE HE TOOK THE CALL, AND, IT LASTED SO LONG ! 6. ALL MY PAST VISITS were 5 mins long. He would come in and ask 'Any problems?', I'd say 'no' and he'd LEAVE !!! 6. All of a sudden he runs tests and changes meds?? MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, IF HE HAD SPENT MORE TIME WITH MY VISITS IN THE PAST, THE MED CHANGES WOULD HAVE BEEN A NON-ISSUE, so he could have treated changiing conditions PROACTIVELY. I AM NOT/WILL NOT EVER GO BACK TO HIM !
