As a professional, I'm absolutely appalled with Bond Clinic. I was skeptical from the beginning because of some of the comments that had been made by people that I care about concerning the facility and the attention to detail when it comes to the treatment of patients. As an operations manager of multiple businesses, it is absolutely my priority to make sure that my clients understand that my staff cares about them. Bond Clinic is very clearly in the middle of an aggressive growth campaign in which they are trying to corner some of the Central Florida Market in their ability to expand their profit margins. As a result of this expansion, customer service decreases in quality. As a diabetic, it is very important that I receive my medication. One of the newer doctors in the practice is Dr Ryan Villarreal. I will be honest, at first he was amazing and his intial zeal was evident, but it was very clear that it was his desire to grow as a medical practitioner even at the expense of suggesting surgical Intervention when less severe and less expensive options were available. As a business man, I was very aware that he was pushing expensive procedures on his patients in order to build his value within the company. And it worked, he grew quickly and became a poster child amongst their physicians. During my visits, I spoke to him about this and told him that I understood business and big Pharma but that I would not be accepting more severe suggestions when less severe options were available. He seemed visibly frustrated when we would have these conversations and he would would admit that less invasive options were available. However it was clear that other clients were willing to take his advice and I believe this is due to his lack of offering them less invasive options and his willingness to prey on their lack of knowledge. Eventually he got tired of me not being willing to take his advice and he pawned me off on his nurse practitioner. I was fine with this, but that's when the nightmare began. His nurse practitioner would put in the wrong dosages of my medications with the pharmacy and his staff, not out of a personal vendetta against me, but merely because they were too busy to handle the increasing volume of while maintaining a level of care that allowed the integrity of patient needs to come first. Eventually, I went into the office because my medications were all wrong and phone calls did not get the job done. I asked the the receptionist to speak with the nurse so that I could figure out why my dosage on my medications weren't correct and why they kept decreasing an increasingly randomly with each refill. She checked the doctor's notes and told me that my dosage had not been changed that this should not have been happening. I left that day being told that I would receive the right dosage and the right refill. This issue continued for months and each month I had to spend hours on the phone with insurance, the pharmacy, and Bond Clinic staff to get it corrected. By the way, they are all getting paid to do a job and yet I was having to do the work. Eventually I randomly got a letter in the mail that said I was no longer a patient because of my behavior. I was completely confused because there had been no behavior. I simply asked that the people I pay do what I pay them for. I would not trust Bond Clinic with my life. It is my belief that they saw me being a patient who also happens to manage a law firm as a liability. I should have left sooner. Proceed at your own risk.
I recently visited Bond Clinic's main campus and had an exceptional experience that I feel compelled to share. Dr. Cecilia Arango, MD, is a remarkable physician whose expertise and compassionate care made my visit truly outstanding. She took the time to address all my concerns, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed throughout the examination. Additionally, my checkout nurse, Denise Gonzalez, exhibited professionalism and kindness, treating me with utmost respect. Her attentive demeanor left a lasting impression, as she efficiently handled the checkout process while making me feel valued as a patient. I highly recommend Bond Clinic for anyone seeking quality healthcare.
No place is perfect but I've been going here for over a decade. I feel heard and treated respectfully. There's a more diverse patient base now than in the past. The focus of Bond Clinic has always been the 40 and up demographic in my opinion. So 20-30 yr olds may want to look for a younger, hipper place.
The Downtown Campus set my appointment to do lab work on 10/29/2025 at 7:30 AM at the Main Campus. The appointment had a reminder "All office visits, lab and radiology appointments are seen by scheduled appointment time, not arrival time. I arrived a little before my appointment and the receptionist handed me a card with the number 28 on it. I took a seat and heard the number 6 called. Which meant there were 22 people ahead of me. When they finally got to me number (28) 8:10 AM. The lady then told me that I would have to wait because they did not have the lab order and that they were trying to get it from the Downtown Campus. They finally got the order at 8:45 and drew the blood. I left at 9:00 AM
