Your access in Orthopedics is TERRIBLE. I used the walk-in clinic, but they still kept recommending I see Dr. Desai. He was my fourth Orland Health Ortho doctor. I was rushed, hurried, I didn't feel listened to. I am in more pain than before. I will be getting Orthopedic care from a new organization. I am going to have to start care all over again.
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Karan Desai, Hand Surgeon from Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Desai is an expert on Orthopaedic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Surgery & Plastic Surgery, and General Surgery. He loves his vocation, and that make it easy when dealing with a Doctor. The procedure was done at Horizon West, and I recommend this place. Today, I am here to remove my stitches. Their customer service was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my procedures, and they treat me like a Queen before, and after my visits. Highly recommend! WEEEPPPAAA!
Dr Karan Dessai is a very nice person he cares about his patients. He explained everything that needs be done that I understand he answered all my questions he's is a happy person he's polite and gentle I'm so happy he's my doctor I wish all doctors could be like him he's awesome I forgot to write about the other Doctor who was there also I can't remember his name sorry he is also a awesome Doctor he is kind, gentle and a happy person he also he answered my questions to. I'm blessed to have two awesome Doctors thank you so much sorry I can't remember his name
I suffered a horrible accident in which I was very blessed to only walk away from with a broken wrist and cuts and bruises in August 2025. I saw doctor Karan Desai and was scheduled for surgery the following week. He made me feel so comfortable and hopeful during the whole process. I was nervous with anxiety the day of surgery but once he appeared he made me feel so much better being that he has so much experience and reassurance that everything will be ok. I had surgery a month ago and am now in therapy. I am very pleased with how successful the surgery went and my scar is so thin and not too noticeable. I just want to say if you need a hand surgeon he is definitely recommended.
Very efficient and timely. Staff was focused on my issue and a plan of attack quickly developed. Dr Desai was great.
