About Dr. Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PLLC: Dr. Mark A Rothschild, MD
Dr. Mark Rothschild is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His clinical practice includes consultative cardiology and performance of noninvasive studies, including echocardiography, stress echocardiology, transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, treadmill testing, and Holter interpretation. After attending State University of New York Upstate Medical University at Syracuse, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease in Boston.

My father has end stage CHF. After a few days of Lasix his symptoms had not improved much. Dr. Rothschild saw him on his 3rd day of admissions in the AM said nothing, and did nothing. Later in the day hospice was suggested. We agreed and asked for discharge home. The hospitalist denied discharge because she felt not enough was being done for his CHF. When we called Dr. Rothchild back he agreed with the hospitalist. There had been absolutely no change in my father's condition from the morning. When my mom called to inquire she said to him "I'm confused if you thought this would help why didn't you bring this up this morning. His answer to her "you are confused." This leads me to believe one of two things about this Dr, either he has no idea what he is doing or he doesn't care what he is doing, either way I would not recommend his services.
