Our experience with Dr. Thakkar Rivera was terrifying and nearly cost my husband his life. He was misdiagnosed, reassured when he should not have been, and sent down the wrong path medically. Something felt off, so we sought a second opinion from another cardiologist--and thank goodness we did. The new doctor immediately identified what Dr. Thakkar Rivera missed and was able to correct the situation before it became fatal. My husband is now doing well in spite of, not because of, the care he received here. When it comes to cardiology, accuracy and attention to detail are everything. In our experience, those were severely lacking. If we had trusted this diagnosis and not pushed for another opinion, the outcome could have been devastating. I would strongly urge anyone who values their health--or the health of a loved one--to look elsewhere and get a second opinion before trusting this provider.

Me & my wife met Dr. Thakkar Rivera on Sept. 27 @ Cleveland Clinic for the first time. She is friendly, professional, go straight to the point;make patient to feel.confortable. I would like to her to be my cardiologist.

Dr. Thakkar brought my life back from the dispair caused by another poorly educated physician. She diagnosed my heart failue as mild valve leakage and properly medicated me back to a normal life rather than a heart transplant suggested by another doctor. Dr Takkar is very professional she acts quickly for patients who needs special treateatments she knows how to listen to patients concerns. I feel very pleased when I go to see her. I strongly recommend.
