Not sure what happened to cleveland clinic level of care. Not even worth a one star. I had an appointment there on dec. 5th , kept getting txt confirmation tlof the appt. Drove for an hr to the clinic , made the co-pay , waited got a confirmation that someone will see me. 20 min waiting and then nurse called to tell me they made my appt by mistake and no one can see me. And the nurse lied to me that they have been trying to reach me and left voice messages which didnt happen. They did offer nothing to fix the mistake. I tried to call to complain., no one called back. When I tried to get my co-pay refunded back, I was surprised that they marked my visit as no show. I am not going there anymore. On another note: when I left frustrated, I was able to call north broward hospital which they were able to accommodate an appt for me within an hr , was able to see a real Dr and the service and care was amazing!.

So many problems I don't even know where to start. First they admitted my friend wrong. It took almost an hour to get her admitted for a scheduled surgery. Finally they get her upstairs and the shower in the bathroom looks like it's being used for storage. The sink in the room has a rusty drain cover. The first nurse takes my friends bag of meds, reads the list off to someone on the phone, puts the meds back, no issues. The next day a nurse scolds my friend for bringing the meds and tells her she's not supposed to have them. The day of surgery, about 20min before the scheduled time, the doctor comes in and tells her they have to delay because she had a positive pregnancy test. Expect she's post menopausal for many years! They said oh well, we have to send up gynecology to check you out. Not 10min later they came and took her to surgery, no check from gynecology. Did they have the wrong room?? Wrong patient?? No explanation as to what changed. Told me her surgery would be "a few" hours and I could get her some food after she returned to her room. Expected her back between 3-4pm. She came back at 9pm!! While I'm waiting in her room because the surgery waiting room is apparently under construction, no one can give me any updates. No one knows anything. A nurse came into her room three times and asked me where she was! Is that not your job to know where your patient is?? They bring her back to the room still under anesthesia. The floor nurse asks the nurse who brought her up where the report was. No one knows. I ask the nurse how surgery went, considering it was SIX HOURS longer than I was told and the nurse says "Well if it didn't go well she wouldn't be here." They didn't give her any of her meds the entire time she was there, 4 days. No way for her to bathe and didn't change her sheets in 4 days. They asked her to walk the halls, despite her having a fall hazard and they didn't have any staff go with her in case she fell. Just don't go here. Just avoid this chaotic mess of failure.

If I could give -10 stars, I would. Not only was my appointment with gynecology moved without my permission, but the day of my appointment I noticed during pre-check in on the app that it was showing over $1000 due for my appointment. I called the gynecology office to inquire (they made NO mention of any issues with my appointment)! They transferred me to finance and that rep verified my insurance and had me wait while to contacted my insurance company to verify that the appointment would only be a $12 copay. She stated "your insurance is connected to the appointment". After driving OVER an hour to get there (and already completing all pre-check in steps) the receptionist and office manager inform me that there is a "problem with your referral" and we need to cancel and reschedule your appointment. They claimed someone had called me. They didn't. Additionally, NO ONE I spoke with hours before my appointment mentioned any issues otherwise I would not have wasted 2.5 hours driving to and from this location only to NOT be seen! The office manager said she couldn't speak for others and why this happened. No apology. No concern for the stress, wasted time and cost from their mistake! Guess when they finally called? AFTER I left (7 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to begin). This isn't the first time I've had issues here. It's beyond unprofessional.

This place is a joke. They don't take the time with their patients or listen to their needs/concerns. It seems like the more patients they can get in and get out is their priority. You have to wait weeks if not months for any type of appointment. Then they give you the go around and tell you to try this, try that for your pain. When I went in for the final time for my lower back pain, I was firm and said PT and the pain relievers they prescribed are not working, I was informed that they did all they can do and nothing else. Fair enough I suppose but when I asked about other doctors to seek, they simply said they don't know and the doctor proceeded to get up, ending our appointment. I felt very dismissed and rushed. Please seek alternative places for your needs. And if you absolutely must use Cleveland Clinic, do not go and see Dr. Ricardo Plata Aguila OR Clariza Sanchez, PA-C. 12/16/25 - I just wanted to update my original post from 3 weeks ago for those who are reading and considering Cleveland Clinic for their provider. I went to get a second opinion and was advised that I needed an MRI done. My results came back and I have a bulging disc along with compression! I am currently seeking treatment.. I always felt something wasn't right. It's a shame that Cleveland Clinic was so quick to dismiss me. Again, please consider another clinic before choosing this place.

I love the Cleveland clinic. They already made a difference in my heart health. The place is clean. There were greeters at the front lobby eager to help you find your way. There is valet parking for a fee. The medical staff is top notch. I see Dr Placido. She was great. She made changes that have me on my way to recovery. I couldn't be happier with the care I received.
