Hippocrates is an incredible place!! We just completed the 3 week Life Transformation Program. The knowledge and education gained far exceeded our expectations. The staff and facilities were awesome. Learned how to become a raw vegan and all the health benefits from doing so. I highly recommend and will for sure be returning in the future!

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. I really enjoyed my accommodation which included a private bed/bath. All the food was fresh and provided to guests in abundance. Staff were warm and friendly, and there was a wide variety of treatments offered.
Areas for improvement include cleanliness of the pools, more restrictions for pets, better explanation of food/drink pairing recommendations, and overall attention to detail when it comes to guests needs.
A few staff really stood out in terms of their warmth and helpfulness. A darker skinned woman with glasses and short hair who worked at Vida (I didn't catch her name), as well as Blake and Norniece.

Just as an aside- before they went to this new business model, around 2000, you could pay $20 to eat as much as you could and walk around the grounds. You could combine that visit with a visit to the excellent McCarthy Wildlife Sanctuary or Lion Country or both since theyre all within a 5 mile cluster. Sadly, Hippocrates has eliminated that lunch option , so the only way to go is to pay $450. It's a unique kinda hippy vibe place, but their price points X me out. How I long for yesterday .

I enjoyed my stay at Hippocrates and can't wait to return. The staff, guests and kitchen staff were all welcoming. I surprised myself by enjoying raw vegan food daily. The villa was nestled in a very cozy setting, and the walking trails were enjoyable. I had several services at the salon; I love the way my hair looks now. Hippocrates Wellness Institute is truly a very special place.

During my time at this facility, I observed several areas where operations and guest support could be improved. The accommodations for guests were often outdated, and some areas could have been cleaner or better maintained.
The dining and meal programs were structured in a way that may not meet everyone's nutritional preferences, and the setup of the dining area felt more like a cafeteria than a wellness retreat.
The Staff could benefit from more training and the flow of this facility appears challenging to provide consistent guidance and support to guests. In my experience, additional services often involved extra charges, which could be confusing for guests.
Overall, my time here gave me insight into the daily operations, and based on that experience, I would suggest that prospective guests carefully consider whether the environment and program align with their personal expectations and needs.
