Dr. Rivera and all of the vet techs, resident and staff have met my expectations and exceeded what has come to be the normal level of service. I have very high expectations and many places leave me disappointed. Every single person I dealt with at cvca was kind, professional, patient, caring, experienced, knowledgeable and they never once hesitated to answer a question, come to the phone (Dr or vet techs), send me thorough and detailed emails. I just can't say enough good things about everyone here. My dog needed an echocardiogram before a teeth cleaning. His heart is worse than I expected, but with the sound advice and proper prescriptions, he's already improving in just five days. (He wears a muzzle because he's aggressive towards strangers).

I have been going to CVCA Cardiac Care For Pets since December 2024, when my 11-year-old chihuahua, 4 lbs, was diagnosed with a delicate heart problem. We were lucky to get Dr. Paulo Rivera there, the best cardiologist-veterinarian for dogs!! Excellent and dedicated professional, with an extraordinary human quality. Explain everything with clarity, infinite patience and compassion! It's very difficult to get someone like him here! His work team as well is equally efficient and attentive, especially Miss Mary who is kind and professional doing her job!! I feel we are in excellent hands!!

Dear CVCA West Palm Beach office and Dr. Rivera: I'm writing to share my frustration regarding the recent experience I had with your clinic. I had an appointment scheduled for my sick dog and unfortunately encountered a flat tire on the way to your office. As soon as the tire issue occurred, I immediately called your clinic to explain the situation and let your staff know we were en route. I was not informed at that time that the appointment would be canceled if we were late. Given the circumstances, I made every effort to still arrive as quickly as possible, even having my husband rearrange his work schedule to assist with the car trouble. As soon as I was able to swap cars, I called your clinic to let your staff know that we would be approximately 27 minutes late (to the 1 hour appointment time). It was only at this point, that I was told we would not be able to be seen and would have to reschedule. I want to emphasize that I had already taken time off work, driven half way (your office is 1 hour away) and made significant efforts to ensure that we could still arrive despite the unexpected delay. It was extremely disappointing to be turned away after all this effort. I understand that appointments need to run on schedule, but I believe some flexibility and understanding are warranted in situations involving emergencies, especially when it involves a sick pet and a circumstance beyond our control. I hope you will consider this feedback seriously. As pet owners, we place our trust in your clinic to show compassion and understanding, especially in challenging moments. Unfortunately, this experience has left us questioning whether we can rely on your clinic for our pet's care in the future.
