Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health - Cardiology / HeartCare

I am sitting in the waiting room, my appointment was at 2:30pm, it's now 3:15pm, insane waiting time, this is the Cardiology office, I doubt I will be coming back here in the future. Edit: It was explained to me that during a software rollout/update, it screwed up the registration module in Epic, Front desk see's one thing, Doc sees something different, makes sense. I'll add back two stars for the staff, but the wait time still loses 2 stars.

When I showed up for my appointment, my insurance was apparently having a massive outage, was a phone message up and everything. The office refused to see me unless I paid $250 out of pocket (for a consultation mind you) after approximately 20 minutes of me quietly sitting on the phone on hold in the waiting room while I was "politely " asked to leave and it was heavily inferred that I was actually uninsured and had no coverage. Even though I am a frequent patient at several other Florida medical clinics through the same insurance. Which was evident in their system. I'm not saying that the situation was their fault, but I am saying that it was handled very, very poorly. They are a business providing service to people seeking medical help. I don't need the attitude.why wasn't my insurance status resolved prior to me coming in?

Have to wait for follow up apt for more than a month. When i arrived, they are telling system is down and cant see and call us tomo for reschedule.. why cant you call the patients if you cant meet them and inform. Had same experience with other doctor in same hospital..

Rescheduled appointment that I made 2 months ago a day before because the doctor was going on vacation.
