I went in with a broken foot in a few places they took me immediately. The doctor was amazing. The nurses everyone and I was in and out with the cast within a couple of hours. Thank you so much, Wellington regional and all of your staff.

On December 5, I arrived to the emergency room due to discolored urine and significant back pain. Given that I consistently drink nearly one gallon of water per day, dehydration did not appear to be a reasonable explanation. The attending physician ordered a CT scan, blood work, and a urinalysis. I was informed that the results showed no dehydration, no infection, and no abnormal findings on the CT scan. The physician Kernus MD, Jay, stated that he could not explain either the pain or the discolored urine. Despite being told I was "fine," my condition worsened overnight. On December 6, I sought care at an emergency clinic on Haverhill Road due to increasing symptoms. It was determined at that time that I had a urinary tract infection (UTI) that had progressed to my kidney. I was immediately prescribed antibiotics and discharged with treatment. This experience underscores a critical lesson: always seek a second opinion when symptoms persist or worsen. A serious kidney infection was initially missed during my first ER visit, despite imaging and lab work being performed. I will be formally submitting a written complaint to the hospital regarding this matter.

I recently had back surgery at Wellington Regional Hospital and needed to stay overnight. I've never been a hospital patient before, nor have I ever had surgery, but I felt compelled to write a review because the care I received was truly exceptional. In the past, when visiting friends or family in other hospitals, I often felt the staff seemed disengaged...just "there for a paycheck," with a polite but empty attitude. I'm very sensitive to that kind of energy, so I was nervous going into my own experience, especially about the level of care at night. But my experience at Wellington Regional was the complete opposite. My first post-op nurse, Marc, was incredible...attentive, patient, and truly listening to my needs, not just hearing me. My night nurse, Nideline, and CNA Guerdy were just as caring. They responded quickly every time I rang for assistance...especially with my many saline-induced bathroom trips during the night! The next morning, Marie, my day nurse, and Ed, the CNA, were equally warm and attentive. They made sure I was comfortable, Marie connected me with pain management, and helped get everything in order for my discharge. Not once did any of these nurses or CNAs make me feel like I was just another task on their shift. They treated me with genuine care, compassion, and respect. My entire experience exceeded all expectations. With service like this, I would never hesitate to return to Wellington Regional Hospital in the future, should I ever need care again.

The absolute worst experience of my life here. My Husband mistakenly went to this hospital after urgent care told him he needs to see a hospital. Er department did a ct scan told him he had fluid in the brain and needs to stay overnight . They told us they scheduled a mri for him so they could further see what's wrong . We heard nothing else for 27 hours! No doctor came to us in the whole 27 hours , no mri was done. We sat waiting for 27 hours. All day they kept telling us "the mri will happen soon" , "there were other emergencies that needed the mri and they took priority over you." Only after we complained and said we would be transferring him did they start giving us answers . The nurses told us they couldn't get in contact with the mri people but after complaining , 10 secs later the nurse leader comes in and says we will get you in within the hour . and 5 mins after that a PA with the neurology team comes in and go overs his ct scan and what it could be . After almost 30 hours of waiting we finally heard some answers . they did the mri and about 12 hours later a neurologist came in to go over the results with us. he didn't give us a definitive diagnosis of what it could be just said he wants to do an eeg on him. we do the eeg and they said the results will be here within the hour . We wait all day for the results , the nurse was very helpful and was trying get in contact with the Dr but got nothing . The nurse tells us that he will be getting discharged and is getting prescribed medication. We asked abt the eeg results and she said she couldn't get in contact with the Dr about them . Finally 24 hours after getting discharged his eeg results are in his patient portal and tells us there are abnormalities and he needs a follow up. After 2 days of calling the hospital I finally get in contact with the Dr . Apparently the Dr prefers patients to call his cell number as he doesn't have a practice at the hospital. Which would have been great to know . Dr was very rude to me . Gave me little to no answers about my Husbands eeg results . Keep in mind this is 3 days after my husband was discharged and the dr is now going over the results . The dr said he needs a follow up appt in a week , however the hospital said their is no appts till next year . When i told him this he said it's not his problem . Worst experience of my life . This is not the first time someone I know has had a bad experience here. Nobody cared or tried to help expect for the nurse my husband had . For her i'm thankful . If you want the best care for you or your loved one , DO NOT GO HERE!

My experience going into the ER was absolutely exceptional. From the second I limped in the young lady who was on the guest desk, went and got a wheelchair for me. The doctors, the nurses the receptionist were absolutely over-the-top amazing. The time we spent there was incredibly short for an emergency room visit. Thank you so much please pass along our positive positive comments to all the staff involved in our visit.
