Herbert Danowit

He was such a caring, compassionate doctor, not only with our father, but with all of us that were there at the hospital. Our father's 90 years old with lots of complications, Dr. Danowit Took his time explaining to us what will be done and then he listened to all our concerns. We are a family of six siblings, and we all had our questions and he took his time to answer all of them. We never felt rushed, and we felt that he cared for our father and for us. No doubt we thank God for putting him in our path during some of the hardest times we have had with our father. Once again we thank Dr. Danowit From the bottom of our hearts. From The Gomez family.

I want to thank Dr Danowitz for his amazing compassion and care given to my sister Theresa. She had stage 4 ovarian cancer and two surgeries to beat the cancer. Unfortunately it was getting close to the end of her young life and Dr was very compassionate and supportive of her and our family needs. I cannot express our hearts and gratitude in words. Thank you Dr Danowitz! And all the nurses on 2N! I especially want to mention one nurse, Faith. Thank you for all you have done for my sister. We will never forget you! Wish i could give no stars. I suppose Dr Herbert Danowit is a "hospitalist" For the we him this translates into being a doctor who works for the hospital, trying to get them as much profit as possible and the Doctor Who couldn't be successful on his own. Motto: Profit over people. He works at Wellington Regional MC. He couched clinical notes in a way to try to dispute an appeal with Medicare . He made false statements about the level of oxygen, my mother was on. They changed clinical notes and removed some from my mother's chart. (fortunately, I screenshot them.)My mother was admitted with one diagnosis and we were told that diagnosis remains the same throughout yet they made changes on the clinical notes which is not appropriate. This doctor is not a pulmonologist, yet he is overruled the decision by the pulmonologist to keep my mother in the hospital. The pulmonologist said that my mother should not be discharged. He threw a tantrum because of his giant ego, and wrote a clinical note with quite a bit of misinformation in the note. He refused to do a psych evaluation despite being repeatedly told that my mother cannot retain information, he told her she could appeal his decision yet she didn't remember that at all, which was proven in front of a another staff member. It is so sad that doctors like Danowitz are so angry. They've been reduced to the level of a car mechanic by the healthcare system that they take it out on the patient. I begged my mother to go to Jupiter Medical Center such a superior hospital! Unfortunately, she didn't listen.

I want to thank Herbert danowit and the excellent support staff off register nurses and the cnas at Wellington regional hospital they treatedme with so much Care. Everybody always came around and checked on me every other hour so I just wanna thank the staff of excellent job thank you very much. Great job guys
