Dr Gray is a good doctor, but unfortunately his staff is horrible. They NEVER answer the phone and NEVER ever call you back after leaving messages. They coded my husbands well check visit incorrectly and he had to pay over $100 when it should've been free. When we tried to call to have this error corrected, of course no one ever called us back. That was his first and last visit to that office. I wonder if Dr. Gray knows how much business he loses because of his staff?
This has to be the least professional doctors office anywhere. They do not answer their phone EVER! Most of the time, the voice mail is full, but if you are actually able to leave a message, they do not return your call in a timely manner. The average time is two to three days later. When in the office to check out, they keep you waiting for an unnecessarily long time while they chit chat with one another. They obviously do not care about you or your time. You're just another file amidst many. Dr Gray is very nice and does listen to what you have to say, but what good is that if you can never make an appointment? I think it's past time to take my business elsewhere.
Dr Gray is my sister's doctor. He is great. However, the office staff leaves something to be desired. When calling, you can't speak to anyone. You leave a message and might get a call back three days later. People call their doctors office because something is wrong. They are either sick or in pain. Making them wait three days for a callback is unacceptable. Even the worst doctors in Vero have a quicker callback time or let you speak to a live person to make an appointment for that day. They should truly be ashamed of themselves for running a doctors office so poorly. For someone that is not affiliated with the hospital, they sure cause a lot of people to go there since they can't get anyone on the phone.
Dr. Gray has been my Primary Care doctor for 10 years, but I had moved out of the area for close to 2 years. Now that I am back I saw him for the first time, and he is the same wonderful person and doctor as always. Dr. Gray takes time with each patient as needed, and he is genuinely interested in his patients. In my case he has gone above and beyond to ascertain my health and wellbeing. I recommend him 100%!
