My husband saw Dr Olivas for a second opinion when his cardiologist told him he needed open heart surgery. We weren't comfortable with that. Dr Olivas reviewed my husband's tests, heart cath, etc. He then talked with us very frankly about his findings and recommended NO to open heart surgery. Dr Olivas suggested we allow him to share the same info with another cardiologist to review it without meeting my husband. That doctor came to the same conclusion, open heart not necessary or advised. Dr. Krishna did another heart cath, revisiting the problem areas, checking out the stents already in place. He placed 2 new stents and my husband is feeling better. Thank you Dr Olivas for your honest assessment and for sending us to Dr Krishna.
