Dr. Yamamura is the absolute BEST. I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (A-fib) in early 2021. As an active, healthy senior endurance athlete, I did not want to be told to change to a more sedentary lifestyle. The first cardiologist (electrophysiologist) I was referred to barely gave me 5 minutes of his time; he was more interested in scheduling another procedure than he was getting to know his patients. After considerable research, I found Dr. Yamamura. My first consultation with Dr. Y lasted nearly an hour. He did not leave until all of my questions and concerns were addressed. He truly made me feel like I was his only patient. We decided the best option for me was to undergo Atrial Fibrillation Ablation with Pulmonary vein isolation. I am no longer in A-fib and I am resuming my normal active lifestyle. I would highly recommend Dr. Kenneth Yamamura at West Coast Arrhythmia Center..... The BEST (5 STARS).

Dr.Yamumura is my hero! A man behind a quite cape that cares about your heart! I have been on a roller coaster that never seemed to stop and 6 short months ago I was told I would need a pacemaker at 41 years old when I was admitted to the emergency room and seen by physicians. The nurses there told me how wonderful Dr Yamumura was as I started to search for a doctor who would listen. They all agreed he would treat or has treated their family and told me to trust my heart and troubles with him. The staff at Pepin Heart all told me the same thing the day of my EP procedure. I'm glad I got to see this passionate Dr who quietly keeps tabs on everyone of his patients by just listening to their needs. This was the best decision I have ever made. Not only is he the best but his nurse Laura is just as wonderful as him and talked me through all of my anxiety for weeks. Many doctors dismissed my symptoms for years and my plea for help but not Dr Yamumura. My cases was more than likely very simple for him but It was the world to me to finally get a diagnosis and find a doctor who was trained enough to listen to his patients. He made me feel in my visit that I was the only thing that mattered. I not only didn't need a pacemaker but he didn't have to do unnecessary procedures just to get paid. He did exactly what needed to be done to give me peace of mind. I would send anyone to him from this moment on. Thank you Dr Yamumura for being a respected, caring and dedicated doctor to patient care. You are a rare gem and I'm thankful the staff at the hospital told me about you in my darkest hours. You and Laura are the best!

Dr. Yamamura is wonderful! He is kind, intelligent and very thorough. I was referred to him because of AFIB. He performed a Heart Ablation on me. I got great care and my AFIB is cured. Thank you to him and his wonderful staff. He is a very busy man but he is worth the wait for an appointment.

Very detailed takes time to explain your procedure I appreciate a Doctor who explains what he's going to do and doesn't rush you in and out. Dr Yamamura did my surgery August 3 he was wonderful 5 stars

A top notch surgeon and an excellent bedside manner - he takes the time to listen to your concerns. No fancy "doctor speak," he'll talk to you like a friend. Recommended!
