My appointment was canceled because of my non traditional insurance health share plan. I pay cash for all healthcare and I'm reimbursed by my share plan. It saves a minimum of 30% on healthcare costs. That means nothing less than greed. Absolutely a greedy doctor who will not take anything but expensive traditional insurance, that rips off the patient by 30% or more. My advice, look at the Doctor Blue Book. The non greedy doctors are listed there, it knocks the field of cardiologists in Tampa from 1600 down to about 50 compassionate doctors who aren't being greedy or run by the insurance companies.

Having been admitted from the Emergency Room and not having a cardiologist, I was assigned Dr. Hulse. Having worked in healthcare myself for nearly three decades, Dr. Hulse was amazing. He took great care in listening to my extensive family history, conducted the necessary tests, and kept me informed. We do not live in the area, but will be making the drive from the Panhandle to see Dr. Hulse from now on. His care is outstanding, his bedside manner is great, and knowing he has your best interest at heart (pun intended) makes the travel well worth it. Having a physician that wants you to be comfortable, informed and healthy makes all the difference.

I had to have a surgical procedure done and Dr Hulse as well as his assistant Renae were fantastic! They both made me feel comfortable before and during the procedure. I highly recommend him. Thank you!
