I had a great visit with Theresa. I love how she explains everything to me and answers all my questions ever so patient and kind. She is everything so great at what she does in her job. Both my husband and myself were fortunate to have found Dr Hamdan and his excellent staff . They really care about the individual and give appropriate care for each patient . He is reassuring and always has time for questions . My doctor recommended him and stated he was the only cardiologist she and her husband would be seen by . He even cut short a vacation to see her husband . My husband was able to avoid open heart surgery , which was being pushed by Tampa General . Instead , after testing , he can be medically managed . This occurred in the middle of a recent hurricane and Dr Hamdan showed up at the hospital shortly after , like a knight in shining armor to the rescue . At the time , my husband wasn't even his patient , so his appearance was especially remarkable ! He is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and also personable and down to earth . Very few doctors possess these skills . His office staff is hard working and it's evident he appreciated them and treats them well too . That also speaks volumes . We are so fortunate and grateful to have him as our doctor

I was a new patient. I arrived on time for my 9 am appointment. Completed my paperwork, paid my copay and waited. Roberto, medical assistant took me back do do my vitals and an EKG. At 10 am he led me into the treatment room and I waited for a whole hour. Nothing. I can hear the doctor berating his staff member about following up with a patient, loudly. At 11 am I picked up my purse and headed for the exit. Roberto came to me telling me that I was next. I said my appointment was at 9 am. It's 11 am. He has no respect for my time. If I was late he would have made me reschedule. And I left. That afternoon Mark called me to reschedule. I asked him what happened today? Did he overbook or did he run late? He ran late. Well he doesn't respect time. You only get one chance for a first impression. No. I won't be returning. Learn some professional courtesy Sir. You're not the only cardiologist in town.

Understaffed, new staff, absent doctor, long wait time, poor communication, rescheduling without informing, on and on and..... I really am trying to like this place because everyone is so nice but I don't think I'll ever come back here again after this.

My father has had 3 appointment scheduled and was only seen once by the Dr. Our first app we saw dr he and staff was very helpful and kind we were actually impressed with his care and knowledge. Our follow up app was two weeks later, we were notified the morning of the app of the cancellation. Our next rescheduled app we arrived 20 minutes early and was told 20 minutes later that the Dr had an emergency. Totally unacceptable my father needs to be seen also, I do feel they need to respect patients time also. Just be aware when making a choice, read reviews.
