Old Fashion Doctor that listens to his patience. He's not like most doctors! Dr. Sonkin takes the time to explain his treatment and any medication so you can understand. As for his assistant, she's very nice and respectful to everyone. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Great doctor!
I have been in the medical profession 30+ years and Dr. Sonkin is absolutely the BEST!! He listens to you and takes his time talking about what he suggests would be best for your health then lets you take the wheel!!! Just LOVE him!!!!
This was my first visit to Dr. Sonkin. The office staff( I dealt with Anna) were friendly and helpful. Dr. Sonkin was very helpful in answering my questions and made me understand some things about my health and healthcare that gave me better insight to taking care of myself. He was intelligent and treated me with a gentle manner. I have new insurance this year which caused a change in doctors. My first doctor was awful! I'm glad I made this change. I have more confidence that I will get good care.
Dr. Sonkin sees my whole family. He is just a real doctor who cares about his patients in a real way. We have been using him for a better part of 20 years. My parents, brother, sister in-law, aunts. They all go to him. I like that he consults with me on how I feel about things instead of jumping to conclusions. If it's something simple like a cold or virus, he wants to know what has worked for me in the past. He doesn't pedal drugs just because. He knows what works. In this era where everyone is letting technology do everything he uses common sense and decades of experience guide him. He definitely cares about doing the right thing and not costing you an arm and a leg.
Amazing doctor who won't make you pay for something that is not needed or not working. The medicine he prescribed worked immediately and cured me pretty rapidly (unlike the drugs that another doc from Urgent care center prescribed). Do not hesitate and visit Dr. Sonkin :)
